US: Lightning strikes 60-feet tall Jesus statue

Hundreds of sightseers have been drawn to the remains of a 60-feet-tall statue of Jesus Christ that was struck by lightning and erupted into flames.

The "King of Kings" statue, one of southwest Ohio's most familiar landmarks, had stood since 2004 at the evangelical Solid Rock Church along Interstate 75 in Monroe, just north of Cincinnati.

The lightning strike set the statue ablaze around 11:15 p.m. Monday, Monroe police dispatchers said.

The sculpture, about 62 feet (19 meters) tall and 40 feet (12 meters) wide at the base, was made of plastic foam and fiberglass over a steel frame, which is all that remained Tuesday.

Police Chief Mark Neu said Tuesday that the fire spread from the statue to an adjacent amphitheater but was confined to the attic area, and no one was injured.

This incident raises a question, Why will God (Jesus,according to Christians) destroy his own statue?

And the reply is

That Jesus, Peace Be Upon Him, is not the God as Christians believe. He is just a mortal human being like all of us. He is just the servant and messenger of Allah.

With this destruction of a statue, Allah has shown his displeasure towards two things. Firstly, giving Jesus PBUH, the son of Mary, status of God and secondly practice of idol worship.

This is an evident sign from Almighty Allah that He is THE ONLY LORD, THE SUPREME.

Allah says in Surah IKHLAS 112

1.      Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allah, (the) One.
2       "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eat nor
          drinks).
3       "He begets not, nor was He begotten;
4       "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."

Proclaim Aloud: 
THERE IS NONE WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH AND MOHAMMED IS THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH.
